I believe that many recent sightings are actually the product of a
reverse engineering project using a space ship recovered from Roswell
in 1947.

Several sightings have mentioned the appearance of Airforce aircraft in
the vicinity of the U.F.O.'s.  While many people think of these as
interceptors, I theorize they are chase planes monitoring elaborate
tests.

I base this on both a sighting I had as a military officer, along with
several other military officers, of a U.F.O. performing maneuvers, as
well as many reports of these U.F.O.'s appearing near military bases,
i.e. Area 51.

One morning while I was in the military, I was at PT (physical
training), a three time a week ritual, at approximately 5:30 a.m.  This
was shortly before dawn. The horizon had not yet begun to glow with the
impending sunrise when one of the officers in our group pointed up in
the sky and asked "what is that?" At which time we all looked up and
saw a white spot high in the atmosphere, high enough to be illuminated
by the sun that was still over the horizon. As we watched, the white
spot would rapidly reposition from one point to another instantaneously
as if it had no mass and had no obligation to follow the laws of
physics as we know it.  We were all Army Aviators, well trained
in night vision techniques and visual illusions association with it and
very aware of the effects of autokenisis (the illusion that a white
light when viewed with no other visual references appears to start
moving when your eyes begin to seek another point of reference).  This
white light was viewed to be moving against the background stars and
was not an isolated spot on a totally black background.

The reason for my conclusion that this was a military ship was that it
was performing these maneuvers above the Fort Hood Military training/
impact area.  This is the same area that the Airforce uses for its
training missions while in Fort Hood airspace.

I believe no one was intended to see this ship as it had no position
lights and was only visible due to being illuminated by the sun over
the horizon.

Nothing I have printed here is classified and no one in my group ever
discussed this.  To the best of my knowledge this is the first time one
of us has come forward publicly.

I do not fear reprisal from the government, I almost welcome it.  This
would obviously prove to myself that my theories are correct.  I have
no paranoia about this subject, just an honest desire for the truth,
whatever that might be.

Now I present to you a delima that I first encountered when a friend
described a personal encounter to me. When someone close to you or
someone for whom you have a great deal of respect for or would
otherwise consider to be very trustworthy tells you of an encounter of
this nature, you are left with only two basic choices.  Either you have
to change your entire belief system and embrace what they have told you
as truth or you have to believe that this person you have entrusted
does not warrant the trust you have placed in them, or worse yet, they
are crazy.

Before seeing this with my own eyes, I always took reports of this
nature with more than one grain of salt.  I always wrote off other
sightings as people looking for publicity or simply not aware of the
possible illusions associated with night vision.  Basically, (real
original here) I would not have believed it had I not seen it with my
own two eyes.
